AEM member Geringhoff USA welcomed Rep. Tom Emmer to its facilities on Monday for a special I Make America event.
Emmer stopped at the St. Cloud, Minnesota-based manufacturer of corn headers to visit with President and CEO Tosh Brinkerhoff and hear directly from Geringhoff employees about the issues that are important in helping manufacturers succeed, particularly as low commodity prices weigh on farm equipment producers.
Emmer spoke to Geringhoff employees and had a chance to take questions from the audience. A welder from Geringhoff presented the congressman with a welded elephant as a token of appreciation for the visit.
AEM Senior Vice Presidents Nick Yaksich and Charlie O’Brien joined Brinkerhoff in welcoming Emmer, and spoke to Geringhoff employees about the importance of pro-manufacturing policies and the I Make America campaign.
The first-term member of Congress toured the facility, which opened just a few years ago.
