Poclain Hydraulics Welcomes I Make America For Groundbreaking Ceremony

The I Make America campaign participated in a Poclain Hydraulics Inc. groundbreaking ceremony last week for the company's $20 million expansion of its North American headquarters in Yorkville, Wisconsin. I Make America helped to celebrate the groundbreaking by signing up several new supporters to its grassroots effort to engage in the political process. Poclain Hydraulics, a manufacturer of hydrostatic transmission systems, has plans to invest in new manufacturing equipment and add 30 additional employees over the next three years. “The need for this addition is due to the strong growth of Poclain in North America and the expansion of our current product lines,” said Poclain North America Group Director Markus Rauchhaus. “It positions us to respond to future growth and will allow us to bring production of additional product lines to North America.” Throughout the event employees had the opportunity learn more about the I Make America campaign. I Make America hosts more than two dozen factory visits a year with elected officials throughout the U.S. and is currently embarking on a three-stop town hall tour in Minnesota, North Dakota and Washington. I Make America was created in order to encourage elected leaders in Washington D.C. and elsewhere to fight for pro-manufacturing policies that allow companies like Poclain Hydraulics to expand its facilities and create good-paying jobs right here in the United States.
